When did the 'emergency vehicle passage' on the road in Korea, often referred to as 'Moses' miracle,' begin? In the SBS program 'Kkokkomu,' actor Park Gi-woong will testify about the accident that sparked the 'Moses miracle' on the road.

The 'Story of the Day When You Bite Your Tail,' airing on the 19th (directed by Lee Geun-byeol, Lee Dong-won, and Ko Hae-rin, hereafter 'Kkokkomu'), will reveal everything about the situation that a patient who had an amputation during the 10-vehicle pileup in October 2013 experienced while being transported to the hospital. Actor Park Gi-woong, who initiated the 'Moses miracle' campaign and starred in 'SBS Heart Beats,' will share his vivid testimony from that day during the broadcast. Among those participating are actor Choi Young-woo, dancer Monika, and Ha Won-mi, who will join as listeners, while Monika, who recently gave birth, shares the joys of parenting, saying, 'I am having a wonderful and amazing time.'

Ten years ago, a 10-vehicle pileup occurred on the snowy highway. A woman who tried to evacuate the children standing on the road suffered a horrific accident during which her leg was amputated after being caught between other vehicles. The golden time for leg amputation patients is six hours. An Operation 007 is launched to complete the reattachment surgery within this time frame. While helicopters are mobilized to transport the patient from the accident site to a hospital in Seoul where reattachment surgery can be performed, the last obstacle remains: getting through the severely congested Olympic Road on a Saturday afternoon.

The hospital is just 10 km away. If traveled quickly, it could take about 10 minutes. However, a shocking situation soon unfolds. During the year-end weekend evening, vehicles on Olympic Road did not yield for the emergency vehicle that was transporting the patient.

At that time, including actor Park Gi-woong who was on board an ambulance filming for 'SBS Heart Beats,' the paramedics urgently requested 'Piyang' (avoid and yield), but vehicles even cut into the front of the ambulance. Regarding this, Park Gi-woong noted, 'I never expected it. I didn't think it would be that congested, nor did I anticipate how little they would yield,' adding, 'It felt like running underwater in a dream, unable to take even a step forward,' conveying the shock of the moment. Monika, watching the video, said, 'It must have been so painful,' and she broke down in tears.

If the road had been given, a distance that could have been traversed in 10 minutes took 40 minutes, prompting citizens who witnessed the situation live through the broadcast to start voicing their concerns at midnight. 'SBS Heart Beats' then launched the 'Moses miracle' project. The 'emergency vehicle passage' has since become a familiar sight for us.

Now, ten years after the 'Moses miracle' campaign began, 'Kkokkomu' will feature testimonies from actor Park Gi-woong, who witnessed the shocking situation from the start, along with the people who were at the scene that sparked the 'Moses miracle' on the road, delivering a moving resonance.

Meanwhile, 'Kkokkomu' is a program where three 'storytellers' share what they have learned with their respective 'story friends' in a one-on-one setting in the most everyday spaces. It airs every Thursday at 10:20 p.m. on SBS.
