Singer Lee Jung declared that she would document the process of removing her tattoos.
Recently, on the YouTube channel "Tattoo Removal Teacher Young-soo," singer Lee Jung grants details about the reasons she started getting tattoos, as well as the reasons she wants to completely remove them.
Having already removed tattoos under her ear, Lee said, "I managed to endure up to my neck in the past. But as it progressed to my scalp, I could feel every single nerve in my body." She added, "While watching the teacher's YouTube, I thought, 'I want to try it with the teacher.' I felt a sense of trust," revealing the reason she sent in her story and came to see the teacher.
The doctor asked, "It seems like the treatment will take a long time and will be difficult, are you prepared for that?" Lee replied, "I am perfectly prepared. I will continue until it is perfectly removed," and said, "Before coming today, I looked at old photos of myself when I had nothing on my body (during my Marine Corps days). It felt a bit awkward but also moving. Honestly, now that I've made up my mind, I will try my best as long as the teacher helps me well," solidifying her resolve.
Regarding the reason for publicly sharing the tattoo removal process, she stated, "I thought it was a problem I could handle quietly on my own, but then I changed my mind to 'If I'm going to do it, I might as well let everyone know.' There’s no good or bad about it. Getting a tattoo is a matter of personal acceptance," and added, "As a working singer or artist, I can be a bit lenient about tattoos, but I want to come out on the teacher's channel and document it. I want to make sure I can’t ever get (tattoos) again."
