Singer Lee Jeong said she could not bear the pain and had to stop removing her tattoo without anesthetic.
Recently, on the YouTube channel 'The Tattoo Removal Teacher, Young Soo,' singer Lee Jeong grants her reasons for starting tattoos, as well as why she wants to completely remove them.
The trot singer, who gained popularity through her alter ego Cheon Rok Dam, expressed her desire to erase tattoos made during a difficult time, noting the many restrictions on her television appearances due to the tattoos.
In fact, Lee Jeong had tattoos on more areas than expected, including behind her ears, her neck, and both arms. Until three years ago, she had only removed the tattoos on her neck, but she had not even begun to remove those on her arms.
The doctor began the first procedure with preliminary laser treatment from behind her ears, and Lee Jeong showed composure, saying, "It almost doesn’t feel like anything." However, when proceeding to remove the small tattoo on her right wrist, she exclaimed, "Oh no, this is a big deal. If the preliminary treatment is this painful..." and could not continue, asking, "Doctor, please give me a moment to think. I think the laser's performance has improved. It wasn’t this painful three years ago. This is too painful."
When asked, "How does it compare to before?" Lee Jeong replied, "It seems more painful. I’m not confident about my right arm, which has many tattoos. I think I could endure it, but I was really stressed back then. It was too torturous to do this at all," reminiscing about that time.
As the doctor prepared to do the procedure again, Lee Jeong said, "I can't do this anymore. If this is how the preliminary treatment feels... I would like to request anesthesia if possible," ultimately opting for anesthesia.
