Singer Eun-jong has directly rebutted her ex-husband Yoon Ddan-dan's claim of "mutual assault." Following her victory in the adultery lawsuit, where she exposed infidelity and violence, she has now launched a counter-offensive.
On the 17th, Eun-jong posted a lengthy message on her social media along with a video capturing part of the situation at that time. The video shows a man, believed to be Yoon Ddan-dan, unleashing a torrent of insults and pushing or grabbing a woman by her hair, causing shock.
Earlier, on the 12th, Eun-jong revealed that she won her adultery lawsuit after a year-long legal battle, admitting, "I could no longer maintain my marriage due to infidelity and violence." She also disclosed that she is in the process of divorce.
However, Yoon Ddan-dan later rebutted, stating, "I bore the full financial burden and was subjected to verbal and physical abuse from my wife." He claimed, "She said she would divorce me if I provided her with revenue from music, and she demanded cash, rights, a vehicle, and custody of our pet dog," arguing that Eun-jong was at fault.
In response, Eun-jong stated, "My husband's claims are a distortion that omits context" and refuted them point by point. She shared specific instances of abuse, saying, "I suffered damage to my eardrum from assaults during our dating period, witnessed the breaking of laundry racks, and was thrown onto piles of pig's feet."
She added, "Yoon Ddan-dan's violent behavior, such as throwing objects during emotional outbursts, cursing, and physically striking me, occurred repeatedly. As a result of the trauma, I was left in fear for a long time."
Regarding the issue of financial responsibility, she stated, "As the co-representative and artist of Coconut Music, all of the revenue settlements were made into my husband's account, but my living expenses were covered by my salary and loan card. I have borne most of the costs, from pet supplies to household celebrations," emphasizing that "there were absolutely no unilateral monetary demands."
Regarding the request for 20 million won in damages, she said, "While there was mention of damages related to fault in the final divorce agreement, I decided not to claim them at my husband's request," stressing that the term "extortion" is completely unfounded.
Concerning custody of the pet dog, she explained, "I decided on direct custody considering the repeated violent tendencies, and my husband also agreed to pay monthly support."
Finally, Eun-jong said, "I am preparing legal action against the dissemination of false information and defamation related to this matter," adding, "I have also secured evidence that acquaintances are spreading indiscriminate information. I will quietly prove all truths through the law."
He added, "I have never held my husband criminally responsible out of consideration for his public activities," and emphasized, "However, I will no longer remain silent against distorted claims, and the truth will inevitably emerge, even if it takes time."
