Comedian Lee Guk-joo comically shared her life as a single person in her 40s.

On the 17th, Lee Guk-joo released a video titled "Tasting and enjoying.. this is life abroad for those in their 40s" on her YouTube channel.

Currently living alone in Tokyo, Japan, Lee Guk-joo was seen finding restaurants with a friend of 20 years and sharing her daily life.

Lee Guk-joo joked, "I'm not trying to challenge my life as a single person in my 20s. I'm in my 40s. I need to take on challenges that suit my age, or else if I suddenly eat only hamburgers, my bones will rot." She added, "So, don't expect me to eat like a typical single student in their 20s."

"Of course, I will challenge myself. But if I have a friend of 20 years here, why wouldn't I take advantage of that?" he said, adding, "Don’t think, ‘That woman can eat that because she has money.’ I'm not 20 anymore."

That day, Lee Guk-joo enjoyed a meal of local rice cooked in a pot and scrambled eggs, saying, "In Korea, rice cooked in a pot is moist and shiny. Here, it feels like fried rice," explaining the differences.

Regarding the changes she felt while riding the subway, she honestly confessed, "I could reduce my expenses like this. I wasted a lot on taxi fares in the meantime," and shared a turning point in her lifestyle, saying, "These days, I’m thinking of walking as much as possible, and in the future, I plan to mix it up a bit."

Meanwhile, Lee Guk-joo has been sharing her daily life after starting to live alone in Tokyo, Japan, on YouTube. She explained her motivation for moving to Japan, saying, “I felt like it had been quite a while since I had lived without a new challenge, and I thought, instead of waiting for something to come along, I should do something when there aren't many jobs available.”

She added, "Here, I came with the mindset of cherishing it like when I was a newcomer, thinking, ‘Let’s struggle as if I’m starting over.’" She shared her determination, stating, "Even if I fail, it won’t be a failure that ruins my life but a good experience."
