The reason for The Boyz member Ju Haknyeon’s suspension of activities has been revealed. His private meeting with former Japanese adult film actress Asuka Kirara became a problem, and the agency announced the termination of his contract and his withdrawal from the team.

According to the report, Ju Haknyeon visited a bar in Roppongi with acquaintances from Japan he had known before on the night of the 29th of last month, and he was captured in a situation where he was with Asuka Kirara, hugging or where Asuka Kirara rested her chin on his shoulder at the drinking party that lasted until the early hours of the next morning.

We sincerely ask for your understanding, as Ju Haknyeon will cease all activities as a member of The Boyz as of today."

Additionally, the agency commented, "One Hundred will spare no effort and support to ensure that the remaining members of The Boyz can continue their activities stably and healthily," and expressed, "Once again, we sincerely apologize to the fans for causing concern and will do our utmost to repay you with good news about future activities."

Despite The Boyz and the agency swiftly responding to the controversy surrounding Ju Haknyeon's withdrawal from the team, the fandom appears to be shocked by the sudden rumor involving an adult film actress. Asuka Kirara, who is known to have had a private meeting with Ju Haknyeon, debuted as an adult film actress in 2007 and retired in 2020, currently working as an influencer. Born in 1988, Asuka Kirara is known to be 11 years older than Ju Haknyeon, who was born in 1999.

Meanwhile, Ju Haknyeon gained recognition through Mnet's 'Produce 101 Season 2' in 2017 and debuted in December of the same year as a member of The Boyz.
