Singer G-Dragon received a shoutout from Elon Musk.

On the 13th, G-Dragon arrived at the 'PEACEMINUSONE Premium Highball Launch Party - The Signal' event held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Yongsan, Seoul, riding in a Tesla Cybertruck wrapped with the 'PEACEMINUSONE' logo, drawing attention. That day, G-Dragon unveiled the third highball version of his personally drawn artwork, while donating 880 million won, symbolizing the number 8 which represents infinity (∞), to the Just Peace Foundation, where he serves as honorary chairman, for the treatment of youth alcohol addiction.

Meanwhile, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is generating buzz by retweeting a video of G-Dragon riding in the Cybertruck. The post he retweeted from 'Teslaconomics' included the phrase, "Just watch what happens when the king of K-pop, G-Dragon, shows up in a Cybertruck in Korea," along with a video showing G-Dragon exiting the Cybertruck and entering the event venue. This video has sparked an explosive response, surpassing 1.39 million views as of the 17th following Elon Musk's retweet.

Additionally, Elon Musk's mother, Maye Musk, also retweeted a video of G-Dragon on the 13th, accompanied by a heart emoji (♥) and the epithet 'King of K-Pop,' drawing attention. It is unusual for both Elon Musk and Maye Musk to simultaneously retweet posts with the title King of K-Pop.

G-Dragon reportedly expressed gratitude for this shoutout from the Musk family.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon successfully completed performances in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, and Macau, and will continue his Australia tour on July 2 and 3 in Sydney, followed by Melbourne on July 6 and 7. He will then proceed with his third world tour, 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch],' in nine cities across Asia, including Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, as well as in three cities in the United States: Newark, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, and in Paris, France. Additional tour dates and locations will be announced later.
