Comedian Jeong Seon-hee mentioned the harsh 'face evaluation' she encountered after her debut.
On the 17th, Jeong Seon-hee released new content titled 'The comedic genius who rejected a call from Shin Dong-yeob (really funny)' through her YouTube channel 'Jeong Seon-hee who left home.'
In this content, Jeong Seon-hee embarked on a traditional market tour, exploring various items while shopping for daily necessities and ingredients. In particular, Jeong Seon-hee drew attention by showing a friendly demeanor, warmly greeting market vendors.
After finishing her shopping, a tired Jeong Seon-hee entered a café with her staff. When customers who recognized her greeted her, she promoted 'The era of radio' directly, passionately mentioning the broadcasting company and time.
Jeong Seon-hee revealed, 'Originally, I couldn't engage in conversation in the past, and I cried in the bathroom for a year after becoming a comedian. The culture (in broadcasting) was too strong.' She added with a smile, 'But now I am stronger.'
Continuing on, Jeong Seon-hee said, 'I was young. I was young and just starting out, and when I came in, it all started with 'face evaluation.' However, even the seniors who evaluated my face back then all had their faces damaged. I was evaluated by those kinds of people and was told to just go away.'
When the staff asked if the senior who assessed her face was Park Myung-soo, she replied, 'Myung-soo oppa doesn't do face evaluations (not at all). Myung-soo oppa was just cute. Still, he said I was pretty.' When the production team mentioned that Park Myung-soo had a crush on Jeong Seon-hee in the past, she added with a laugh, 'It must have been when Myung-soo oppa was briefly impoverished.'
