Members of BUMSUP shared their thoughts on negative critiques regarding their skills.
On the 17th, Mnet's 'World of Street Woman Fighter' (hereafter referred to as WSWF) featured a 'World of K-Pop' mission where two crews competed with songs by aespa, Jennie, and G-Dragon.
Prior to this, the members of the struggling Korean team BUMSUP revealed their thoughts on the pouring negative comments following the K-Pop mission stage reveal. Hyojin Choi noted that there were many negative comments after the broadcast, and Ri.hey said, "The reaction that 'the harmony is disappointing? The energy is much lower compared to other teams' hit us like a bullet."
Leejung said, "They say 'Team Korea is weak. Just how weak are they?' It felt like they were coming to watch us out of curiosity," while Honey J, who was even selected as the worst dancer, candidly confessed, "I was really disappointed during the first battle. I felt like I was being intimidated by the negative comments."
After being eliminated from the main dancer selection, the members cried while embracing each other. Leejung said, "I was upset even though I worked hard," and AIKI honestly confessed, "We felt like we were being ignored. We wanted to be comforted."
Leejung stated, "Being close to the public enough to receive biting criticism. I think receiving your overwhelming support is the greatest blessing," while Honey J expressed, "I also have a strong desire not to disappoint," AIKI added, "Let's be confident for the team. We have so much to show," and Hyojin Choi remarked, "I will do well," vowing to give their best in the upcoming stages.
