Super Junior's Sungmin appeared on 'Immortal Songs' alongside his wife, Kim Sa-eun.
Sungmin participated in the special episode titled "Trust Your Sister Once" of KBS 2TV's entertainment program 'Immortal Songs' that aired on the afternoon of the 14th. In particular, he showcased a competition between older wives and younger husbands on that day, appearing together as a couple married for 11 years with an age gap of 1 year.
Sungmin and Kim Sa-eun said, "We had our son after 10 years of marriage, and we dedicate 20 out of 24 hours to parenting. Since the child cannot speak and only cries, understanding the child's feelings is the most difficult part," sharing the struggles of first-time parents.
Sungmin recalled, "We also met for the first time in the practice room. After our first meeting, I felt like I could see a future with this person while dating by the Han River. I told her, 'If others are question marks, you are an exclamation mark,' and Sa-eun returned the compliment by saying, 'I see the universe in your eyes.'"
Choosing Nam Jin's 'Partner,' Sungmin and Kim Sa-eun brought to life the couple's deep and sticky bond along with their passionate love through lively music and performance. Sungmin's powerful voice and Kim Sa-eun's solid singing ability, combined with their perfect chemistry, showcased a delightful performance that entertained the eyes and ears simultaneously.
Sungmin and Kim Sa-eun confessed, "During the practice process, we tried hard to take turns stepping away from parenting. Even when we tried to practice together, one of us had to watch the child, so at first, we were considerate of each other, but when we went to practice, it didn’t go well, so recently, we’ve been trying to go first," making the audience laugh.
