Kim Tae-hee opened up about her honest feelings regarding her appearance.
In a recent exclusive interview with the Taiwanese media ET Today, Kim Tae-hee said, 'I began to feel anxious after turning 35.' She noted, 'After getting married, having children, and focusing on childcare, I realized at some point that my skin elasticity wasn't the same as before,' adding, 'The anxiety about my appearance started in my late 30s.'
However, she learned to soothe herself rather than dwell on her insecurities. 'As I approach 40, I realize that there are parts of me I can't change,' she said, 'I have tried to accept myself as I am.'
She also mentioned the reality that, as a mother raising two daughters, she struggles to find time for appearance maintenance. Kim Tae-hee explained, 'Maintenance needs to be done regularly, but I don’t have the time. So, I receive laser treatments regularly.'
Still, she said, 'When I do my best, I naturally show other charms,' adding, 'I want to continue my beauty journey in a way that is not excessive and is natural, in my own way.'
Meanwhile, born in 1980 and currently 45 years old, Kim Tae-hee married Rain in 2017 and has two daughters.
After giving birth, she made her comeback in 2020 through tvN's 'Hi Bye, Mama,' and in 2023, she met viewers again with ENA's 'The House with a Yard.'
