On the 14th, Shawn shared a post on social media saying, “Happy 16th birthday, Ha-yul!” along with a photo of his third son who recently completed a 10km marathon.
In the released photo, Shawn's third son, Ha-yul, completed the 10km marathon with a dignified appearance. Wearing a medal around his neck and standing in front of the camera, Ha-yul captivated attention with his resemblance to his father.
Shawn said, “When he was born, he weighed 2.56kg, and I prayed that he would grow big and healthy. I’m so proud that our Ha-yul has grown into a teenager who can complete 10km in 38 minutes.” He added, “From now on, I will pray that you grow into a person who loves God and loves your neighbors, just like the meaning of your name.”
Shawn married actress Jeong Hye-young in 2004. In 2006, they welcomed their first daughter, Ha-eum, and the following year, they had their son, Ha-rang. They later had their son, Ha-yul, in 2009 and their daughter, Ha-el, in 2011.
