Cho Yi-hyun from 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' embarks on a grand project to dispel bad luck in order to save her first love, Choo Young-Woo.

The production team of the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' (scheduled to air on the 23rd, directed by Kim Yong-wan, written by Yang Ji-hoon, planned by CJ ENM, produced by Studio Dragon, DEXTER Pictures, and Eo Contents Group) revealed on the 13th that they have released a main teaser that arouses curiosity about the exhilarating and rough first love between Park Seong-ah (played by Cho Yi-hyun) and Bae Gyeon-woo (played by Choo Young-Woo).

'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' is a romance story about a boy with a deathly fate and a MZ shaman girl trying to prevent it, based on the popular webtoon of the same name. It presents a refreshing tale of first love between high school shaman Park Seong-ah, who confronts destiny for her first love, and Bae Gyeon-woo, who reverses his fate through the ordinary happiness she opens up for him. The story promises to deliver a delightful excitement. Additionally, the episodes featuring K-ghosts, each with their own unique backgrounds, add a different layer of enjoyment. Notably, director Kim Yong-wan, who has showcased excellent directorial skills across various genres, along with the delicately talented writer Yang Ji-hoon, combine their efforts to pique the interest of drama fans.

The main teaser released on this day begins with Park Seong-ah, who is completely smitten watching Bae Gyeon-woo drawing back the bowstring toward the target. As soon as Park Seong-ah, the celestial fairy, says, "A person who walks backward is someone cursed with bad luck and will soon die," Bae Gyeon-woo walks backward into the shrine. Having foreseen the ominous future of their first love, Park Seong-ah launches into action to save Bae Gyeon-woo. His remaining lifespan, calling down bad luck, is only 21 days (three weeks). "I will save you," Park Seong-ah declares with determination.

Park Seong-ah's determined mission to both save Bae Gyeon-woo and kickstart their romance does not start easily. In an attempt to chase away the water ghost clinging to Bae Gyeon-woo, she unexpectedly causes a splash of water, and to save him from a falling signboard, she suddenly rushes into his arms. Her reckless advance, not hesitating even in the face of fiery flames, leaves Bae Gyeon-woo flustered. Bae Gyeon-woo's question, "What are you doing?" hints at the difficulties ahead in Park Seong-ah's mission to dispel bad luck, of which he knows nothing.

Despite Bae Gyeon-woo's walls, Park Seong-ah's straight approach continues. Her key to dispelling bad luck is none other than herself, becoming the "human talisman" that fully defends Bae Gyeon-woo from misfortune. The more she sticks to him, the more effective her talisman powers become, leading her to grab Bae Gyeon-woo's hand at all times and suddenly dive into his embrace. Her bold confession, "I don’t want to deceive you either. What do I want to do with you? It’s nothing but love," brings about changes in Bae Gyeon-woo, who is usually unyielding. The voice saying "First love begins" after their fluttering gaze gives rise to greater anticipation for the first love salvation romance that will change their destinies.

Meanwhile, the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' is set to premiere on the 23rd at 8:50 p.m.
