New actress Jung Ah-yul has now been gone for 13 years. The longing and deep regret for the late star, who abruptly ended her life at the radiant age of 20, still persist.

Jung Ah-yul was found dead at her home in Seoul on June 12, 2012. At the time, her agency explained, "Aside from the 750,000 won provided by the agency, there were no other sources of income. It was known to be a drastic choice due to financial difficulties, but she was usually bright and outgoing, so we never expected this."

Traces of her struggles were evident on the late star's social media. Two days before her death, Jung Ah-yul posted on her social media, "When I woke up this morning, I felt like I was standing alone in the desert. I have been living alone since I was nineteen, and in my room with no one to rely on, the weight of the world felt too heavy. I guess I still have a long way to go before becoming an adult. I miss mom and dad," leaving her fans heartbroken.

Additionally, a day earlier, she expressed her complex feelings with a short post reading, "Nothing seems to be a comfort." Friends close to her noted, "She was usually a diligent and bright person. She always put her best effort into acting. It is even more unbelievable and heartbreaking that she showed such a demeanor until the end."

Jung Ah-yul, a graduate of the Department of International Tourism at Yeongjin College, began to make a name for herself through various activities, including public advertisements for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and cosmetics commercials, and stepped onto the path of being a full-fledged actress by appearing in KBS 2TV's morning drama "Love, Love." However, the harsh reality of the entertainment industry proved to be too burdensome for the young actress, and ultimately, she became a star in the sky without being able to fully realize her brilliant dreams.
