Comedian Kim In-seok provided clarification on his recent transformation into a pastor.
On the 11th, Kim In-seok posted on his social media: "Recently, I've uploaded a video on Seong-ho's YouTube channel featuring the 'Monk and Pastor' concept that I’ve been doing since Comedy Big League, and some people have been reaching out to me thinking I've really become a pastor."
Recently, a video titled ‘[Special Documentary] Why New Jeans Goes to Church!??’ was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘New Seong-ho bbakoo,’ run by Yoon Seong-ho. Dressed in monk attire, Yoon Seong-ho visited a church, stating, “A classmate opened a church.”
At that location, he was greeted by none other than Kim In-seok. Dressed in pastor's attire, he warmly exclaimed, “Come into the house of the Lord.” Yoon Seong-ho was puzzled and asked, “How did you become a pastor, given your nickname was troublemaker?” Kim In-seok playfully responded, “Now I can misbehave in the embrace of God.”
Subsequently, the video became a topic of discussion, and despite being a comedy sketch, news spread that "Kim In-seok has become a pastor."
In response, Kim In-seok said, "Everyone! I am still actively working as a broadcaster for now," adding humorously, "If I ever become a pastor, I will let you know first!"
