From reenacting iconic lines from 'The Women of the World' to showcasing ballerina-level flexibility, Do Ji-won, meeting her life character Kim Geum-soon, an 'episode-rich' Cha Cheong-hwa who transitioned from a zombie role to dropping out of a sitcom, and Han Ji-eun, an entertainment ambitioner known as 'Bright-eyed Light.' The laughter, empathy, and unexpected charm they emitted left a strong impression on the viewers, bringing about positive reviews. According to Nielsen Korea on the 12th, the previous day’s broadcast of 'Radio Star' recorded a viewer rating of 4.7% in the metropolitan area, capturing the top spot in its time slot and ranking first in the 2049 viewer segment. The 'best one minute' segment featured Kim Geum-soon experiencing her explosive popularity during a photo shoot, at the Baeksang Arts Awards, and participating in 'Gag Concert,' achieving a viewer rating of 5.9%.
Do Ji-won perfectly reenacted the legendary historical drama 'The Women of the World' scene of Queen Jeongbin Park after 23 years, leaving everyone breathless. She showcased a step-by-step angry 'What?!' performance that overwhelmed the set and shared behind-the-scenes stories from the filming where she had to slap with a ring on.
Do Ji-won drew attention by revealing the reasons she initially declined the casting for 'The Women of the World' and what made her decide to appear. She disclosed that her past in the MBC historical drama 'Sunrise Peak' was too difficult, leading her to reject historical dramas, but after a call from her mother and finding the script amusing, she changed her mind. As a result, she became a key figure in the drama that recorded the highest ratings of 49%.
He also mentioned the hair-pulling scene with Kim Jung-nan, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the drama 'Buried Hearts.'
