Rising actor Oh Seung-jun grants a role in the new ENA Monday-Tuesday drama "Ishopping."
"Ishopping" (directed by Oh Gi-hwan / written by Ahn So-jung / produced by Group 8 and Take One Studio) is an action thriller that depicts the desperate survival and revenge of children who barely survived after being abandoned by their adoptive parents. It drew significant attention from production as it is based on the webtoon of the same name that won the "Best Creativity Award" at the International Content Market SPP 2017 Webtoon Awards.
In the drama, Oh Seung-jun plays the role of "Seok-soo," one of the abandoned children. Seok-soo serves as a "fence" among the abandoned children, quietly supporting Ah-hyun (played by Won Jina), who takes on the leader role among the kids, and growing together. Oh Seung-jun is expected to sensitively portray Seok-soo's emotions amid the chaos of the unfolding events.
Oh Seung-jun previously made a strong impression by expressing youthful vigor in the film "Boy in the Pool," and has shown his potential as an actor by appearing in ENA's "Kidnapping Day" and KBS1's "Taejong Lee Bang-won." There is keen interest in what kind of performance he will deliver in "Ishopping," where he presents a new face in every project.
Meanwhile, "Ishopping," featuring Oh Seung-jun, will premiere on ENA on July 21.
