Actor Park Joo-hyun announced that she will appear on "Iron Girl" for a project.

On the morning of the 12th, a production presentation for the STUDIO X+U drama "The Hunter with the Scalpel" took place at the Ramada Sindorim Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul. Actors Park Joo-hyun, Park Yong-woo, Kang Hoon, and director Lee Jeong-hoon attended the event to share their thoughts.

Based on the novel of the same name by writer Choi I-do, "The Hunter with the Scalpel" is a crime thriller in which Se-hyeon, a genius forensic doctor, races against time to find her father, a serial killer known as "The Tailor," to avoid becoming his prey, discovering his familiar killing methods along the way.

Park Joo-hyun took on the role of Seo Se-hyeon, a genius forensic doctor chasing her father, a serial killer, to hide a past she wants to erase. He said about the aspects he focused on for character acting, "Se-hyeon is not one-dimensional in expressing her emotions and is not honest in her expression, which is very different from me. I tried to express my emotions and expressions without revealing them to others while making it interesting."

In particular, he had previously challenged himself with his first fixed variety show by appearing on the tvN entertainment program "Iron Girl." Park Joo-hyun stated, "I don't think I have a particularly sensitive appearance. I thought that if I did a triathlon, I would become sensitive, sharp, and edgy," explaining that she decided to appear on "Iron Girl" for the project.

He added, "The PD and writers of 'Iron Girl' know this, so I think I've had a good effect. It was really tough. I became very sensitive and sharp. The feeling of losing weight from starving is different from that of losing weight through exercise. I wanted Se-hyeon to feel like that, so I benefited a lot from 'Iron Girl.'"

Meanwhile, "The Hunter with the Scalpel" is set to premiere on the 16th through U+tv, U+Mobile TV, and Disney+.
