Wandering gourmet and the icon of warm food affection. Four years have passed since the late chef Lim Ji-ho, a natural cooking researcher, left this world, and actress Kim Hye-soo commemorated him. Although four years have passed, his "food affection" still warmly resides in Kim Hye-soo's heart.

On the 12th, Kim Hye-soo revealed a photo of the late chef cooking during his lifetime, along with a short message stating "Fourth anniversary of Lim Ji-ho" on her social media. Although brief, the words conveyed deep longing and respect for the deceased captured in a single photo.

Kim Hye-soo and the late chef Lim Ji-ho's connection began through the SBS TV cultural program "How to Eat Well and Live Well, Have You Eaten?" The warmth he showed towards people was as exceptional as his philosophy about food, leaving a deep impression on Kim Hye-soo.

In 2021, shortly after the late chef passed away, Kim Hye-soo visited his grave and placed a bouquet of flowers and a cigarette, leaving a note that said, "I miss you so much. I love you, Teacher." For the second anniversary, she expressed her longing with "I miss you, teacher," and for the third anniversary, she shared several photos of him as a quiet mourning continued. Kim Hye-soo's yearly commemoration of the late chef transcended mere broadcasting ties and was the essence of sincere "affection."

The late Lim Ji-ho passed away in his sleep from a heart attack on June 12, 2021, at the age of 65. It was an unexpected farewell. At the time of his passing, many stars, including Kim Hye-soo, Kang Ho-dong, Han Hyo-joo, Song Yoon-a, Han Ji-min, Lee Tae-ran, Jang Hyun-seong, Shin Hyun-joon, Kim Soo-ro, Insooni, 2PM's Jang Wooyoung, Super Junior's Choi Siwon, and Paul Kim, visited his funeral and tearfully bid him farewell.

Chef Lim Ji-ho was a true "wandering gourmet" who roamed the country cooking with ingredients gathered from nature. He listened to the breath of the seasons and the land rather than following structured recipes, and his cooking was infused with his heart. He was a well-known figure who even catered dinners for former President Moon Jae-in and corporate executives, and actively communicated with the public through programs such as SBS "How to Eat Well and Live Well, Have You Eaten?", MBN "Let's Eat More", and SBS "Master in the House."

Especially, the movie "Food Affection," which became his last work, was a documentary tracing memories of his biological mother, a foster mother he raised with his heart, and mothers on the road, reflecting on the true flavors of life. Even amid the pandemic, this film received a warm response and served as a time that recorded the person Lim Ji-ho himself.

Director Park Hye-ryeong said in an interview with OSEN, "The teacher overcame a difficult personal history through cooking for others," and noted, "He loved people very much and expressed that longing through food. I hope he can now rest in peace."

Three years ago, Kim Hye-soo was the first to visit the late chef's funeral and walked the last path with him. Since then, she has commemorated him every year with her own words and photos. For the first anniversary, she visited the grave and left a bouquet of flowers and a cigarette, and for the second anniversary, she conveyed quiet longing with "I miss you, teacher." This year as well, she took out the warmth captured in photographs and called out to him once again.

Like rice, like affection. Kim Hye-soo's commemoration was warmer than words, and the memory of Lim Ji-ho was even warmer.
