ITZY officially released their new mini album 'Girls Will Be Girls' and its title track on June 9. The new album achieved the number one spot on the worldwide iTunes album chart for three consecutive days from June 9 to June 11. The music video for the new song, filmed in Georgia, drew K-pop fans' attention with its mystical atmosphere, solid storyline, and high-quality visuals. The music video, which conveyed the message that 'nothing is scary if we are together' while resisting the creature 'Eye Bird' that embodies the world's gaze and biases, recorded number one on the YouTube music video trending worldwide on June 10 and 11.

JYP Entertainment opened behind-the-scenes photos captured on the set of the title track's music video on the afternoon of the 12th, thanks to the fiery response from fans. In the photos, the five members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna displayed bright smiles and posed cheerfully, exuding delightful energy with their enhanced visuals.
