MAMAMOO member Solar successfully conducted a promotion in Taipei, solidifying her position as a global artist.

Solar held her first press conference in Taipei on the 10th (local time) to commemorate the release of her Chinese single 'Floating Free,' meeting with over 100 people, including major local media outlets. In a lively atmosphere, Solar shared various stories related to the production of 'Floating Free.'

As she embarks on full-scale overseas activities with the release of 'Floating Free,' Solar communicated directly in Chinese throughout the event, garnering a warm response. Notably, she started formally learning Chinese in November of last year to showcase a more perfect performance in terms of tones and pronunciation when singing the Chinese single. It is said that she arrived early on site to receive Chinese lessons for this event.

Meanwhile, at the showcase, members of the popular boy group AcQUA and POLARIX, including Jayjun, attracted attention by personally attending to celebrate the release of Solar's Chinese single. They presented Solar with a peach cake and offered words of encouragement. The warm chemistry between seniors and juniors transcending borders stood out.

After successfully concluding her first press conference, Solar said, "'Floating Free' is a song created for fans around the world. The lyrics mention the sun and the moon, comparing myself to the sun and the fans to the moon. Even if we are far apart, the message is that we are connected as one through music. I hope there will be more opportunities to face global fans directly, share music with them, and discuss the music."

As Solar expressed her wish during the press conference, she will hold a solo fan concert 'Solar FAN CONCERT 'Floating Free: Between' in TAIPEI on the 22nd, meeting local fans up close. The setlist is expected to heat up the venue by showcasing her true value as a trusted artist, including the Chinese single 'Floating Free.'

The Chinese single 'Floating Free' marks Solar's new start as a global artist. It consists of Chinese lyrics, with support from 9m88, a singer-songwriter representing the Taipei indie music scene, completing a unique musical synergy.
