Actress An Yi-seo has announced her full-fledged busy work schedule as she takes the stage and screen in June.

An Yi-seo will appear in the new MBC daily drama 'The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun' (planned by Jang Jae-hoon, directed by Kim Jin-hyung, written by Seol Kyung-eun, produced by MBC C&I), which first aired on the 9th, and will continue her active role in two movies, 'Heaven Is Not' (directed by Son Seung-woong) and 'Suhwa Star' (directed by Kim Woo-seok), both released on the 25th.

In 'The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun', An Yi-seo portrays Min Su-jeong, the executive director of Min Gang Distribution. Su-jeong is a talented person with both beauty and brains, but she has a complex about her different starting line compared to other competitors. Amid this, the fierce power struggle between Su-jeong and Kyung-chae that unfolded from the first broadcast on the 9th foreshadows internal strife within a chaebol family, injecting a taut tension into the drama. Through 'The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun', An Yi-seo is expected to perfectly take responsibility for weekday evenings in homes as she works alongside Jang Shin-young (as Baek Seol-hee), Seo Ha-jun (as Moon Tae-gyeong), Yoon Ah-jung (as Min Kyung-chae), and Oh Chang-seok (as Kim Seon-jae).

In Jo Kwan-woo's first leading role film 'Suhwa Star', she shines with a brilliant presence as Sun-ja, a character with pure and bright charm. 'Suhwa Star' is a family drama capturing the journey of Tae-won (Jo Kwan-woo), a father devoted to his son, and Chil-seong (Jang Yoon-seo), who lost his dreams in an accident, as they seek ordinary happiness. Director Kim Woo-seok of 'Suhwa Star' praised An Yi-seo, saying, "I was looking for a character for Sun-ja that was quirky yet cute, and An Yi-seo was perfect. She shares many ideas and demonstrates them through her performance, making the director comfortable to work with." Expectations have risen for An Yi-seo's acting passion and positive energy that she will showcase in 'Suhwa Star'.

In 'Heaven Is Not', an official selection for the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, An Yi-seo transforms into a mysterious woman named Mi-ran, who holds an important key between twin brothers Il-do and I-do. 'Heaven Is Not' depicts the desperate psychological battle for survival of identical twins Il-do and I-do, who must take over each other's lives to survive. Actor Park Jung-pyo, who left a deep impression in 'Connection' and 'Queen of Tears', anchors the drama in a dual role, while Lee Ho-won, who has steadily expanded his presence across various genres, takes on the role of Woo-sik, a character living in a dangerous world alongside I-do.

Despite the stagnant industry, An Yi-seo will make a significant impact in June by meeting the public with three works. She has left an impression in various projects, including ENA 'Frosty Love', Netflix 'Urban Ghost Stories', SBS 'Would You Like to Taste?', KBS2 'Joseon Loco - Nokdujeon', and MBC 'The Man Who Sets the Table'. An Yi-seo has undergone two name changes and was beloved under her former names Han Ga-rim and An So-jin. She became a 'married woman' after announcing her marriage last year.
