The drama 'I Shopping' has confirmed its scheduling on ENA for 10 p.m. on July 21, Monday, along with the news of the cast including actress Yum Jung-ah, Won Jina, Choi Young-jun, and Kim Jin-young (Dex).

ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'I Shopping' (directed by Oh Gi-hwan / written by Ahn So-jung / produced by Group 8 and Take One Studio) is an action thriller that portrays the desperate survival and revenge of children who barely survive after being abandoned by their adoptive parents. Based on the Kakao Webtoon that won the 'Best Creativity Award' at the International Content Market SPP 2017 and recorded over 51 million views, it is garnering attention from both original fans and drama enthusiasts.

Above all, 'I Shopping' draws attention with its stellar casting. The trusted actors Yum Jung-ah, Won Jina, and Choi Young-jun lead the cast, complemented by the versatile all-rounder Kim Jin-young. The strong casting combination that transcends generations is already a hot topic before broadcasting and forecasts the birth of a high-quality thriller set to hit this summer in 2025.

Yum Jung-ah plays the role of Kim Se-hee, a director of a large hospital and operator of a charity foundation. Outwardly, she appears as a respected celebrity doctor, but in reality, she is the head of an illegal adoption trafficking organization, conducting the 'I Shopping' business under a twisted belief that only superior genes must survive. Yum Jung-ah is expected to captivate viewers with a shocking character that she has never showcased before in this project.

Won Jina plays the role of Kim Ah-hyun, who was returned after being adopted but dramatically survived. As the leader and spiritual support of the surviving children, Ah-hyun engages in a desperate struggle for revenge and survival, facing unexpected truths. This marks Won Jina's first challenge in the action genre through 'I Shopping,' where she is expected to showcase a different kind of bold charm.

Choi Young-jun portrays the role of Woo Tae-sik, a henchman in the illegal adoption trafficking organization who secretly rescues and protects returned children. Feeling guilty about handling the children, he teaches them how to survive while protecting them. Choi Young-jun, who has demonstrated deep acting skills through various works, is expected to add depth to the drama with his heavy presence.

Rising star Kim Jin-young plays the role of Jung Hyun, a human weapon raised by Kim Se-hee (played by Yum Jung-ah) and the actual operator of the illegal adoption trafficking organization. Jung Hyun completely obeys Se-hee's commands and is expected to lead a tense development while practically managing the organization. The chemistry between acting newcomer Kim Jin-young and the reliable Yum Jung-ah is also highlighted as a major point of interest.

Meanwhile, today (11th), scenes from the script reading that provide a glimpse of the actors' acting chemistry were unveiled. The irreplaceable presence of Yum Jung-ah dominated the atmosphere, even bringing deep emotions to a short line of dialogue. Additionally, all the actors on set enhanced the immersion with their deeply embodied performances, perfectly blending into their respective characters.

After the script reading, Yum Jung-ah said, "Everyone prepared a lot. I felt like I just had to do well," and added, "Since it is a work that combines thrilling action and a thriller, I ask for a lot of love and attention." Won Jina noted, "I think there will be plenty of room to think about the message in the work. Everyone is working hard, so I hope you enjoy it."

'I Shopping' is produced jointly by Group 8, a successful producer that has made hit dramas based on original works like 'Still Loving You,' the 'Taxi Driver' series, 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty,' and 'Boys Over Flowers,' and Take One Studio, which produced 'Your Honor' and 'Luca: The Beginning.' Additionally, ENA, which has set new box office records with each Monday-Tuesday drama airing such as 'New Recruit' and 'Tastefully Yours,' is already gathering attention for this new work set to premiere.

With its daring themes and messages, as well as a strong cast, ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'I Shopping' is set to make its debut at 10 p.m. on July 21, Monday.
