(Following Interview②) Actor Lee Jeong-ha shared his thoughts on military enlistment.

On Nov. 11, an interview with actor Lee Jeong-ha, the lead in the Wave original 'ONE: High School Heroes,' was held at the Post Tower in Yeouido, Youngdeungpo District, Seoul.

Based on the webtoon 'ONE' by writer Lee Eun-jae, 'ONE: High School Heroes' features the story of the top student Ui-gyeom (played by Lee Jeong-ha), who suffers under his father’s oppression, and Yun-gi (played by Kim Do-wan), who aims to use his natural fighting talent to form a masked 'High School Heroes' group that explodes their pent-up anger and overturns the hierarchy of school violence in this high school action drama.

Born in 1998, Lee Jeong-ha is currently 27 years old. When asked about his plans as the issue of military service looms closer, he said, "I am always prepared. Just call me and I will go back looking cool."

Lee Jeong-ha mentioned, "Seniors talk a lot about their experiences before and after going to the military, and when they return, they look really cool, right? I was influenced by that too, and I want to go there, train hard, and hear people say that I had a cool military life and returned."

In particular, he mentioned getting advice from Song Kang, who enlisted last year and is currently serving. He said, "Song Kang-senior told me, 'Jeong-ha, it's really tough.' He'll be back soon. Military life can be hard, but he said there’s a lot to learn from it, which is good. If called, I will definitely go and work hard."

However, he noted that he does not have specific plans on when to enlist. Lee Jeong-ha stated, "When the time comes, I have to go, right? I don’t have a plan yet on when to apply, but if the timing works out, I have a strong desire to do more filming. If that doesn't work out, I will have to go and serve diligently."

When asked if there is a specific place he wants to volunteer for, Lee Jeong-ha replied, "These days, I hear a lot about UDT. I heard a lot about it while shooting with (Sergeant) Jun-seo. He keeps mentioning it enticingly," adding, "I will think about it a lot and let you know by the time I have to go. That said, I really want to go somewhere with a lot of activity in my heart. If I mention a specific place, I may really have to go there. I have to be cautious. I’m thinking about it, but I don't know how it will turn out."

He added that until his enlistment schedule is announced, he intends to "commit to filming diligently to leave a lasting impression on viewers. I will become an eagerly awaited actor when I return."
