Japanese top band Sekai No Owari will kick off their Asia tour in Korea.
According to the live entertainment brand Livet on the 11th, Sekai No Owari will hold the 'SEKAI NO OWARI ASIA TOUR 2025 'Phoenix' in Seoul' at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium on September 20.
This concert by Sekai No Owari in Korea is part of their Asia tour and marks about seven years since their last solo performance in 2019. Given their consistent tours and presence at various festivals, high interest is focused on the stage they will present at this concert.
Sekai No Owari is a four-member band consisting of Nakamoto (guitar), Fukase (vocals), Saori (piano), and DJ Love, known for their overwhelming entertainment through stage productions filled with their worldview. They officially debuted in 2010 with the single 'Maboroshi no Inochi' and have since expanded their range of activities.
In particular, Sekai No Owari achieved the remarkable feat of entering Budokan just three months after releasing their major debut single, and in 2015, they sold out 140,000 seats over two days at Nissan Stadium, Japan's largest venue. This also set a record as the first band to perform at Nissan Stadium in the shortest time since their major debut.
Sekai No Owari, who has emerged as a key player in promoting Japanese rock music globally, is also immensely popular in Korea. Starting with their appearance at the Jisan Valley Rock Festival in 2012, they held solo concerts in Korea in 2017 and 2019, and continued to engage actively with domestic fans, including a performance as a headliner at Sound City in 2018.
Meanwhile, Sekai No Owari's Asia tour will take place in Seoul as well as in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and China. Tickets for the domestic concert will be available for purchase starting at 8 p.m. on June 19 through the ticket booking platforms Melon Ticket and Ticket Link.
