Former girl group Cleo member Chae Eun-jung has announced her marriage, leading to curiosity about her partner. Previously, she rejected a dentist while appearing on Mnet's 'Couple Palace 2'. In particular, when allegations of a romantic entanglement emerged, she clearly defined the situation, saying, "Absolutely not."

In this regard, Chae Eun-jung also shared her wedding sentiments through social media. Chae Eun-jung noted, "Since I am getting married as an adult, my feelings are oddly nostalgic, and I find myself pondering even more each day, moment by moment. My personality is incredibly urgent, and my patience is extremely limited. I owe much to my partner, who is a great source of support, and I truly love and appreciate him."

Curiosity about her partner continued, especially as Chae Eun-jung showcased a mysterious connection with a 27-year-old dentist named Choi Young-jun from Y University during her appearance on Mnet's 'Couple Palace 2'. However, Chae Eun-jung was significantly disappointed when Choi Young-jun did not approach her during the fast one-on-one date. Chae Eun-jung said, "Among all the women, I was the only one sitting alone. It was a truly hellish time, and I felt miserable."

Despite this, the 27-year-old still wanted to go to Palace Week with Chae Eun-jung. However, she stated, "Everything seems to be tangled up. When I chose three men, even when they were supposed to line up, they didn't come, and the time I spent sitting alone was incredibly sorrowful. Thus, my heart felt heavy. I felt that these trivial matters could lead to things going awry." This was why she rejected him.

After the failed connection with the dentist, Chae Eun-jung is now set to marry her fiancé, who works in the broadcasting industry. He has even released a video he made himself. In the video, Chae Eun-jung shared, "We met at this cafe a year ago, and recently celebrated our first anniversary together. I will become a bride in August," revealing their connection. However, some raised suspicions that she might have been already dating during her appearance on 'Couple Palace 2'. However, according to an OSEN investigation on the 10th, it was confirmed that Chae Eun-jung was not in a relationship with her currently announced fiancé during the filming of 'Couple Palace 2' and was actually single.

In relation to this, her agency also clarified, stating, "The filming of 'Couple Palace 2' took place in the second half of last year, and at that time, she was indeed single." They elaborated, "Chae Eun-jung and her fiancé have been acquainted for about a year. Although they drifted apart for a while, they recently reconnected through work and have developed a good relationship, leading to their promise of marriage."

Meanwhile, Chae Eun-jung, who debuted in 1999 with Cleo's 'Cleo 1st Album', continued her solo career under the name 'Angel' even after Cleo disbanded. She formed a girl group in Hong Kong and has been active in various capacities, including as an MC and director. Furthermore, after appearing on MBC's 'King of Mask Singer' and TV Chosun's 'Tomorrow is Miss Trot 2' in 2020, she reformed Cleo as a trio with new members Koo Do-kyung and Dini in November of last year, and recently released her second city pop single, 'Tonight'.

Chae Eun-jung will hold her wedding ceremony with her non-celebrity boyfriend on August 31 at a location in Seoul.
