Broadcaster Shin Jeong-hwan defended Paik Jong-won, the representative of Theborn Korea, who has recently been embroiled in controversy over abusive practices.

On the 9th, Shin Jeong-hwan said in the YouTube channel 'Channel Gojeonghae,' on the episode 'Non-Non-Non Season 2 - Debate on Paik Jong-won ep.1,' that "It is true that thanks to Mr. Paik Jong-won, food, cooking, and the culture of self-catering have developed."

Kang Byeong-kyu, who appeared alongside, commented on public opinion regarding Paik Jong-won, saying, "It’s almost at the level of a grave-digging. It has reached the level of posthumous punishment," and added, "All the catchphrases and quotes he used in popular programs in the past are now transformed to 'false, there were victims, it was abusive practice.'"

Regarding the 'broadcast station abusive practices controversy,' Shin Jeong-hwan noted, "I heard he could influence the advertising budget of the broadcast station for a year," and added, "I think it’s natural to want to make a good impression on producers, MCs, and writers. (Exerting influence) was a common thing in our time."
