Choi Kang-hee, the first celebrity to donate stem cells, has once again performed a good deed.
On the 11th, the YouTube channel 'I Am Choi Kang-hee' featured Choi Kang-hee engaging in quiet charitable acts, drawing attention.
That day, Choi Kang-hee joined the volunteer club of the nursing department at Seongshim University. The university students remarked, "So pretty," and "It feels like I'm getting lost in her eyes," which brought laughter.
Choi Kang-hee attracted attention by participating in a stem cell donation registration campaign alongside student volunteers. Choi Kang-hee gained attention in 2007 when she donated stem cells.
Choi Kang-hee said, "I heard that a leukemia patient received it. They said it worked out really well." Choi Kang-hee emphasized that the method of donating stem cells has become similar to blood donation.
Regarding the background of her donation, Choi Kang-hee said, "I went to donate blood and saw a pamphlet, so I applied. I thought it would be great if we guided people like this here."
Choi Kang-hee approached students directly to discuss stem cell donation. Choi Kang-hee said, "This is difficult. People can hear it with one ear and let it slip out the other." Choi Kang-hee stated that she would promote it outside the school and was determined to take action.
Students who recognized Choi Kang-hee took the initiative to approach her and made efforts to register for donations. Choi Kang-hee remarked, "The students are so kind and pretty. Many people don't know, and I realized that if I promote it more, a lot of people would participate."
