Due to a system malfunction of the cultural content platform YES24, the schedules for ticket reservations and applications for groups such as ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, singer B.I, and actor Park Bo-gum have been changed. It has been revealed that the cause of the system malfunction was due to a ransomware attack.

On the 10th, YES24 announced through its official homepage and social media, "We apologize for the inconvenience caused to all our members due to the YES24 service access errors. The access issue has been occurring since around 4 a.m. on Monday, June 9, due to a ransomware attack, and recovery efforts are underway."

It further noted, "Our internal investigation found no indication of personal information leakage, and we will diligently cooperate with the investigation by the relevant authorities and will announce the results again." It also expressed, "We sincerely apologize for the delay in providing detailed information to the customers who should have been informed first due to the urgent recovery process."

Additionally, YES24 mentioned, "We are currently preparing specific compensation plans for all members who experienced various inconveniences due to the malfunction. We will ensure quick service recovery and provide overall notification and individual guidance. Once again, we deeply apologize for causing concern to our members."

With the YES24 homepage down, the entertainment industry also could not avoid the impact. YES24 operates not only as an online bookstore but also as a ticket sales platform for performances, and currently, access to the ticket sales site is also unavailable.

First, singer B.I's side had scheduled a fan meeting pre-sale on the 9th at 8 p.m., but it has been canceled. His agency, 131 Entertainment, stated, "The fan club pre-sale scheduled for 8 p.m. on June 9 is currently impossible due to the system malfunction at the ticket agency YES24, which has caused the homepage and customer center access to be unavailable."

The agency stated, "Accordingly, the fan club pre-sale schedule is expected to change, and we hope there will be no confusion in usage. We will inform you of the changed schedule and details through an announcement later. We ask for the understanding and cooperation of the fans."

Following B.I, the group ATEEZ also changed the schedule for the release of additional concert tickets, and the group ENHYPEN canceled the application schedule for their fan signing event commemorating the 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' activities. Park Bo-gum had scheduled a verification date for fan meeting pre-sale but has changed it.

As the performance industry is also severely impacted, ticket issuance is currently impossible, creating a challenging situation. Consequently, the musical production company stated, "If you bring reservation-related documents (reservation confirmation, reservation email) that allow you to check seating information, you can view normally." They added, "If seating information is not confirmed, access may be restricted based on the situation on-site, so we ask for your understanding in advance. We will promptly announce separate notifications regarding refunds and additional compensation."
