The music healing romantic comedy drama 'Fresh Romance' production presentation created a warm atmosphere with the lively and witty remarks of the cast.

On the 9th, the production presentation held at the Shockin K-Pop Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul, featured cast members Lee Chae-yeon, Sion, Dong-myung, Choi Da-eum, and director Hwang Kyung-seong, who recalled memories from the filming and showed authentic engagement in the work, expressing excitement about the OTT release on June 12.

When asked about the work during the introduction by MC, comedian Moon Gyu-bak, director Hwang Kyung-seong noted, "The drama 'Fresh Romance' tells the story of Han Jung-woo (Sion), who dreams of being a singer-songwriter, betrayed by his best friend Choi Min-joon, but it's a music healing romantic comedy that can provide warmth, dreams, and courage," adding, "Lee Chae-yeon took on a lot of the comedy role," which drew interest.

Lee Chae-yeon described her character Yoo Chae-rin as "very tough and a bit shy, but a singer known as our country’s goddess," adding that she is "a very complex character with a somewhat prickly and haughty side, yet tender and cheerful."

Sion, who plays Han Jung-woo, a character who dreams of being a singer-songwriter, shared, "He is a friend with many scars who meets Yoo Chae-rin while working part-time at a chicken feet restaurant and dreams of love and music again," noting, "I'm not good at scary amusement rides, so I asked the director several times, 'Do I really have to ride this?' during the scene where I had to ride the Viking from the beginning."

Actress Choi Da-eum recalled, "Through my role as entertainment reporter Do Ji-yeon, I thought I could express myself well with my voice and what I have. The director also trusted me during filming and acting, so I approached it very enjoyably and passionately."

This work gained attention simply for Lee Chae-yeon's transformation into an actress after her debut in the girl group IZ*ONE and the fact that identical twin idol members appeared. The acting debut of identical twins Dong-myung from the boy group ONEUS and Sion, and the fans' interest in their two-shot were focused on.

Dong-myung, the twin brother, joked, "There is a scene where Jung-woo hits me, which was shown in the teaser video screened at today's production presentation. I usually win the fights, but even though it’s acting, getting hit felt really unpleasant," adding, "However, the one and a half month filming period left me with very happy memories."

Director Hwang Kyung-seong revealed, "As a music healing romantic comedy, it features more than 20 OSTs," heightening interest in the OST, while singer Jaysera received applause at the production presentation for performing the track "Why did you leave me."

The music healing romantic comedy drama 'Fresh Romance,' depicting the special love and connection between Yoo Chae-rin, the national goddess who has been exhausted by music for six years since her idol debut, and Han Jung-woo, a dedicated aspiring singer-songwriter, will be released in all eight episodes on Wave, Tving, Watcha, KT Genie TV, SK Btv, and Homechoice on the 12th.
