Broadcaster Choi Eun-kyung mentioned her feelings about leaving 'Dongchimi,' which she hosted for 13 years, during '4-Person Table.'

On the 9th, Channel A's entertainment program 'Best Friends Documentary - 4-Person Table' featured Choi Eun-kyung, Oriental medicine doctor Lee Kyung-je, comedian Kim Young-hee, and broadcaster Kim Sae-rom coming together.

On this day, Kim Sae-rom cited Choi Eun-kyung as her 'role model,' noting that she admired Choi Eun-kyung, who showed a greater desire for laughter than most comedians and always appeared ready as an entertainment MC when she started broadcasting in her 20s.

In fact, Choi Eun-kyung was admired by her younger siblings as 'the queen of management.' Not only does she maintain a strong muscular physique year-round, but she also focuses on body management by practicing Pilates twice a week and doing strength training once a week. She revealed her fitness motivation, saying, "It would be nice if the forearm muscles are visible when the MC holds up cue cards," and added that she began practicing taekwondo last year, surprising many.

However, recently Choi Eun-kyung stepped down from MBN's entertainment program 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi,' where she had been an active host for 13 years. Regarding her recent activities after leaving, Choi Eun-kyung stated, "I can’t just quit everything dramatically, but I thought I should start organizing things little by little and give myself a sabbatical."

In particular, she expressed pride about her time on 'Dongchimi,' saying, "There was never a moment where I didn’t give my best for even a second, taking breaks or doing other things." She further remarked, "If a guest messes up and leaves feeling disappointed, wouldn’t that be really upsetting? And if they leave the recording site without being able to speak, it can affect their performance elsewhere. I wanted to ensure that no matter what, they would finish sharing their prepared stories. But after that, I would feel completely drained on the way home."

However, Choi Eun-kyung mentioned, "After more than 10 years, I started to feel, 'What’s the point of living like this?' I realized I needed to take a break too. After receiving laser treatment after 15 years, I thought, 'I should have done this sooner,' and laughed.
