Canadian singer JK Kim Dong-wook has targeted the Lee Jae-myung government.
On the 9th, JK Kim Dong-wook posted on his social media, "How can the economy be okay? I'm very worried," and added, "I wonder if the disaster relief fund is really the best solution in this reality."
He continued, "The moment you get it in your hands, the country's prices will spike irrationally, and people holding 대파 (green onions) will be causing a fuss. Who knows?"
Additionally, he noted in another post, "There are good times and some not-so-good times, right? Ultimately, in the end, the good times tend to dominate my mind over the bad times. That's how I feel."
Meanwhile, JK Kim Dong-wook is known to be a Korean-Canadian who holds Canadian citizenship. He has been one of the representative 'right-wing' celebrities who have recently been expressing his political beliefs consistently on social media.
Earlier, in December of last year, following the emergency martial law situation, he consistently expressed opposition to the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol after it was passed. In particular, he has mocked citizens urging for the impeachment and arrest of President Yoon Suk-yeol by calling them 'pro-North Korean forces.'
In addition, ahead of the recent presidential election, he publicly supported Kim Moon-soo, who was a candidate from the People Power Party, and on the 3rd, after the election results were confirmed, he expressed disappointment, saying, "In the end, the result was that songs that should not be included were included," and has been criticizing the Lee Jae-myung government continuously.
