Ahn Seong-hoon and Son Heon-soo shared their thoughts on joining 'The Birth of a Worker 2'.

On the broadcast of KBS1 'Morning Garden' on the 10th, comedian Son Heon-soo and singer Ahn Seong-hoon appeared as guests to celebrate the airing of 'The Birth of a Worker Season 2'.

That day, when asked about his role in 'The Birth of a Worker 2', Ahn Seong-hoon revealed, "I am talking a lot with the parents and learning from my older brother," and added, "However, the older people keep giving me drinks, so my brother is constantly jealous," which drew laughter. He continued, "Heon-soo said he was responsible for the visuals in Season 1. He seemed very wary of me since I am a bit younger, so I hope he works hard while I take care of the visuals."

In response, Son Heon-soo praised, "There was no one who showed overwhelming popularity at the scene in Season 1. But Seong-hoon seemed to dominate the atmosphere. It was really amazing."

However, the work was not easy. Ahn Seong-hoon expressed, "The first filming was at a sesame field, and Heon-soo told me to just trust him, but I got yelled at a lot. When we were crushing the sesame, our spirits were crushed," while Son Heon-soo explained, "I forgot since I haven't worked for a year."

In particular, Ahn Seong-hoon mentioned about his work skills, "If I do it, I can do it well. I have done a lot of part-time jobs since I was young, so I can do what I was taught well. Please help me a lot." He added, "My parents worked hard for a long time, so I spent every vacation at my grandmother's house. While listening to trot music there, I felt comfortable on 'The Birth of a Worker' since I have lived in the countryside continuously."

He also shared, "I did various part-time jobs. I worked at a wedding hall, a gas station, and a convenience store. Then, by chance, I saw an advertisement for a song contest and participated for the first time when I was in my second year of high school, singing trot. I won a popularity award. While others performed with bands, I sang trot alone. The prize money was about 200,000 to 300,000 won. It was a huge amount of money. So, I traveled around to find nationwide song contests. I recruited 2 to 3 friends to go together to win more than the popularity award. While doing that, I watched the guest singers and thought, 'I want to receive applause like that and be recognized for my song,' which made me challenge myself to 'National Song Contest.'"

He continued, "In fact, when I was in high school, I was rejected twice. Then, the last time was during my military leave near the end of my service. I applied and used my military experiences to support my application. I was lucky enough to get accepted and even received the grand prize."

However, after his debut, the reality was not easy. He recalled, "It was very different from my dream. There weren't many places where I was invited, and not many people offered proper event pay. I had no living expenses, so I worked part-time on weekends, and when there was work, I skipped events. During that time, I quit. My parents wanted me to have a stable job and thought it would be good if I just worked in a resort, but I couldn't become a full-time employee, so I left. I also worked as a café manager. I did various things."

Comedian and singer Son Heon-soo explained when asked, "I heard you started working since the 5th grade in elementary school," saying, "Because my family was in a difficult situation. I wanted things, so I started working part-time. I've done everything: distributing newspapers, delivering milk, handing out flyers, working in pubs, and at franchise restaurants. I haven't taken a break for more than three months. I have even worked on duck boats on the Han River."

Then, MC Um Ji-in asked, "But why did you start a business?" Earlier, Son Heon-soo stated, "As soon as I debuted, I gained immense popularity with my absurd comedy. I appeared on entertainment news programs for eight consecutive weeks and worked on 70 commercials. However, I wanted to take on something new. So, I directed three films, four commercials, and produced four disco albums and two trot albums, and I started a business. But then I went completely bankrupt. I lost all my 1 billion won and accumulated over 500 million won in debt," which elicited sympathy. In response, Son Heon-soo mentioned, "I think I got a bit too carried away after my comedy was doing well and gaining popularity. I held it for about four years, but I took on a lot of debt. Now, I've paid it all off."

He added, "Now the situation is good. By chance, I became the producer of the group 'The Ugly Three Brothers' (Oh Jeong-tae, Park Hwi-soon, Oh Ji-heon). We've done over 80 events in just three months," and stated, "Recently, I also signed a contract for a commercial worth hundreds of millions of won. The representative of the company called after watching 'Morning Garden'."
