A video of a security guard for the rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts, under SM Entertainment, elbowing a woman presumed to be a sasaeng fan at the airport is causing controversy.
On the 9th, several social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), featured posts and videos titled 'Controversy over Hearts2Hearts security guard's excessive response.' It is reported that Hearts2Hearts used the shuttle train at Incheon International Airport the day before for their departure to China.
The video shows a woman attempting to board the shuttle train when she bumps into a member of Hearts2Hearts, and the security guard is seen pushing the woman’s neck with his arm. The guard, while stopping the woman, asked, 'Why are you hitting the member?' Despite the woman stating that she had a boarding pass, the guard continued to ask, 'Why are you hitting the member?'
In response to the controversy, additional videos were posted on social media. The videos captured the woman, who was stopped by the security guard, pushing Hearts2Hearts members as they boarded the shuttle train and then squeezing in to shove her phone forward.
Some internet users expressed opinions such as, 'The security guard was just performing his duty,' and 'Seeing this video, I understand why.'
