On the 10th, RM (real name Kim Nam-joon, 31) and V (real name Kim Tae-hyung, 30), members of the group BTS, completed their active military service.

On that day, RM and V greeted fans at the soccer field of Shinbuk Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, after leaving their respective units. RM expressed his gratitude to fans by saying, "I want to thank you for waiting for us," and added, "I will work hard to make an album and return to the stage quickly."

Around 9 a.m. that day, the two got out of their cars and shared a light hug. RM appeared in front of fans playing the saxophone while wearing sunglasses, and V showed up holding a bouquet of flowers in both hands.

V shared his thoughts, saying, "After coming to the army, I took time to reflect on my body and mind," and added, "I really want to repay fans as soon as possible, and I sincerely thank you for waiting. If you wait just a bit longer, I will show you a wonderful side of myself."

He also said, "I hope the remaining soldiers stay safe and finish their training well to return safely," and added, "I will work hard to live as a good and wonderful person in society."

On that day, hundreds of ARMYs (BTS's fandom) from both domestic and international gathered early in the morning in front of the soccer field where the military ceremony was held, holding placards and light sticks to celebrate the two's return.
