Actress Jeon Yeo-bin expressed her thoughts on collaborating with director Lee Jung-heum and actor Namgoong-min through 'Our Movie.'
On the afternoon of the 10th, a production presentation for the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie' (directed by Lee Jung-heum, written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, produced by Studio S and Beyond J) was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan, Seoul, attended by director Lee Jung-heum along with actors Namgoong-min, Jeon Yeo-bin, Lee Seol, and Seo Hyun-woo.
'Our Movie' depicts a love story between the film director Lee Je-ha (played by Namgoong-min) and the actress Lee Da-eum (played by Jeon Yeo-bin), whose tomorrow cannot be postponed, set to première on the 13th.
On that day, Jeon Yeo-bin praised director Lee Jung-heum and Namgoong-min, saying, "In fact, it’s not something ordinary for a senior to receive an award at the 3rd Academy Awards as an actor." She continued, "As a junior actor, I had respect for my seniors, and I really liked director Lee Jung-heum's 'Gugyeongi.' I was curious about their relationship when I heard they were meeting again."
She added, "Even when I read the script (the screenplay), I could hear the voice of my senior in the character Je-ha. It made sense, and I wanted to verify it with my own eyes. My heart began to flutter. I thought director Lee Jung-heum's romantic direction would be very refreshing. I kept thinking that he would create a romance unlike anything I had seen before."
Jeon Yeo-bin continued, "Indeed, the two have already established a solid trust, and perhaps because of the respect I already had, the feeling of loving Je-ha arose naturally as a human being. It seems that my senior found it endearing. Even when I lacked confidence, he embraced me as if to comfort me, and I felt emotions building up. I could sense that our relationship had deepened at some point."
Meanwhile, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie' will première at 9:50 p.m. on the 13th (Friday).
