Jun Hyun-moo of "Krazy Rich Korean" is confident about winning the face-off against Kian84.
On the 10th, a production presentation for KBS2's new variety show "Krazy Rich Korean" was held at the KBS Annex in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
"Krazy Rich Korean" will be led by Lee Chang-soo, who has directed popular KBS variety programs such as "The Return of Superman," "Boss' Ears are Donkey Ears," and "The Seasons." Lee is expected to present the stories of Koreans active around the world with his unique artistic and trendy perspective.
Jun Hyun-moo is expected to play a central role in presenting the activities of world-class Koreans in a more three-dimensional and engaging manner, based on his renowned hosting skills, extensive knowledge and experience verified through numerous programs, and unique insights.
After meeting with Lee Chang-soo again following "Boss' Ears are Donkey Ears," Jun Hyun-moo said, "I feel like it was a good choice to work together. What does it mean for a public broadcasting PD to be so lively? However, he has a creative charm. It's hard to think of him as just a public broadcasting PD because he's such a standout individual. I recognized his true value and think he is a friend capable of creating killer content."
Regarding the programming of "Krazy Rich Korean," Jun Hyun-moo stated, "Of course, it’s not an easy battle. Starting later than 'Taekyungilju' and 'Miwoo Sae' feels like a death wish. Even if I enter a fire pit, I trust Lee Chang-soo's creativity. And the nature of the content is reliable. Since it's going in a completely different direction from competing programs, I believe people will definitely want to watch it if they are looking for fresh content. I’m not sure what the first episode's ratings will be, but I think it will trend upward. Even if it starts small, I believe it will steadily rise. It won't be a hit from the start, but I think it will keep climbing."
In particular, Jun Hyun-moo commented on the face-off against Kian84, who is competing at the same time, saying, "Kian84 also mentioned the face-off. Although he's not someone who usually talks that way, it seems like he's trying to gauge the competition judging by what he said."
Meanwhile, KBS2's "Krazy Rich Korean" will premiere on the 15th at 9:20 p.m.
