Actor Ok Taekyeon expressed his gratitude for the strong support from So Ji-sub's company regarding his struggles in music activities, while So Ji-sub announced his 10th album.
On the 9th, in the 96th episode of the YouTube channel 'Zzanbro,' So Ji-sub and Ok Taekyeon appeared as guests and showcased their candid conversation.
That day, Ok Taekyeon confessed, "After JYP, other companies suggested that I retire from 2PM and transition to acting." He continued, "But now in the company where So Ji-sub is, they said it's okay to do music. It seems possible because So Ji-sub is also doing music." He added with a laugh, "It was a great support that they said they won't stop me from doing what I want as an actor."
In fact, So Ji-sub, who has released up to his 9th album, is a singer-songwriter and rapper, consistently engaging in music activities while also appearing in music videos. As such, Shin Dong-yeob asked, "I heard recently that you're considered the best actor among rappers. Do you keep singing because you love hip-hop?"
So Ji-sub stated, "I want to sing in front of fans, but honestly, I'm tone-deaf," revealing his honest side. Nevertheless, he said, "I want to make songs that tell my story, so I keep accumulating tracks. I never sing anywhere else, only in front of my fans," expressing his love for his fans.
He added, "When this album comes out, it will be my 10th. Right now, it's my 9th, but I definitely want to fill the 10th album. I don’t know when it will be, but if I have the chance to meet my fans, I will work on music and surely release my 10th album."
