The cultural content platform YES24 is experiencing a system failure, rendering its website inaccessible, and the entertainment industry has also been adversely affected.

On the 9th, YES24 announced via its website, "We are currently conducting a system check to provide better service. Service may be temporarily restricted during this time, so we ask for your understanding," and added, "Currently, due to the system failure, access to the website, product shipping, and customer service are unavailable."

According to YES24, some of the order volume has been confirmed as unshippable and will be processed for cancellation. YES24 noted, "We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to our users." There is no scheduled time for the system check, making it impossible to determine the exact recovery timeline.

As a result, both the entertainment industry and the performance sector have been hit hard. In addition to being an online bookstore, YES24 also operates a ticket sales platform for performances. Currently, the ticket sales site is also inaccessible.

Consequently, singer B.I., who had a fan meeting pre-sale scheduled for 8 p.m. today (9th), announced a schedule change. The agency 131 Entertainment stated, "The fan club pre-sale scheduled for June 9 at 8 p.m. cannot currently be accessed through the booking site, YES24, due to the system failure and customer service connection issues."

The agency conveyed, "Due to this, the fan club pre-sale schedule will be changed, and we hope there will be no confusion in use. Details regarding the changed schedule will be notified later through an announcement. We ask for the fans' understanding and cooperation."

Meanwhile, YES24 is an internet-based shopping mall established in 1999. It sells multimedia products including tickets for performances, albums, and DVDs, based on its online bookstore.
