A heartbreaking story of an individual who dedicated their life to caring for three younger siblings has been revealed.
On the broadcast of KBS Joy's 'Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller' on the 9th, an individual appeared who had lost contact with their mother.
The individual said, "I have three younger siblings, all of whom have intellectual disabilities. I have sacrificed a lot in life, but now it’s overwhelming, so I suggested sending them to a facility, and then my mother cut off contact. My siblings are 29, 18, and 14 years old. They are all younger brothers." The individual noted that they live only with their mother due to their parents' divorce.
The individual revealed that normally, their mother takes care of the children, and when their mother is busy, they look after the siblings. The individual recently got married and explained that their mother is now solely caring for three children and is living as a recipient of basic living support.
The individual said, "My mother doesn’t even say she won’t send them to a facility, and we are cut off. She told others that I don’t contact her first. When I go to visit, she puts on headphones and does something else."
Seo Jang-hoon comforted, "If you say you'll send them to a facility, wouldn’t it be natural to worry? How hard must your mother be struggling? No one can comment on your mother's feelings. The individual has really worked hard for a long time taking care of their siblings, and they have done their fair share."
The individual said, "I always had to give money at home," and Seo Jang-hoon asked, "Do you want to completely sever ties?" The individual replied, "Actually, that might be the case." Hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon said, "There aren't many who can sever familial ties. Just do the bare minimum and live a happy life from now on," and added, "The decision to send them to a facility or not is up to your mother."
