The group BLACKPINK is returning.

Last weekend, shots of BLACKPINK filming the music video for their new song were captured in a location in Seoul, indicating that their full group comeback is imminent, which has begun to amplify excitement among music fans worldwide.

On the 9th, YG Entertainment officially announced for the first time that BLACKPINK began filming the music video for their new song on the 6th. It has been confirmed that preparations for the full group comeback are progressing smoothly, as promised by Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer, who noted, "We will soon announce the news of BLACKPINK's new song."

As it is the first announcement of their new song in about 2 years and 8 months, there is significant interest from music fans around the world. While specific details regarding the schedule, song title, and concept remain under wraps, the fact that filming for the music video has officially begun suggests that BLACKPINK's comeback is imminent.

YG noted, "We are filming with a famous overseas director in Korea. As a result, another iconic music video that encapsulates BLACKPINK's identity and musical color will be born," adding, "This is a special collaboration befitting BLACKPINK's stature as a top global artist, so you can look forward to it."

BLACKPINK has set numerous records with each song they release, leaving a monumental footprint in K-pop history. Most importantly, their influence grows stronger every day, both as a group and as solo artists, which raises expectations for the music they will showcase with this comeback and the new history they will write.

BLACKPINK will embark on a world tour that includes 31 performances in a total of 16 cities, starting with a concert in Goyang in July. They are expected to solidify their presence as a global top artist by performing in stadiums in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and other locations around the world.
