Singer Seunghwan, formerly of RIIZE, will make a solo debut in July.
On the 9th, his agency, SM Entertainment, officially stated to OSEN, "Seunghwan is preparing for a solo debut targeted for July. Please look forward to it."
As a result, Seunghwan will make his solo debut 10 months after leaving RIIZE in October last year.
Earlier, Seunghwan suspended his activities just two months after debuting in November 2023 due to personal controversies. After approximately 11 months of inactivity, he announced his return to the group last October, but ultimately decided to leave the team due to fans' backlash.
In November of the same year, SM Entertainment announced via social media that "Seunghwan is preparing for a solo artist debut in the second half of 2025. To this end, Seunghwan is continuing his practice with systematic training, producing, management, and various support necessary for a solo debut."
