The 22nd episode of the KBS 2TV medical storytelling entertainment program 'Celeb Soldier's Secret,' which will air on June 10 at 8:30 p.m., will focus on the fiery 'War of the Currents' between 20th century rivals Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla, as well as their mysterious experiments and deaths.

Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla are representative inventors and engineers who laid the foundation for the technology industry of the 20th century. In his youth, Tesla worked at Edison's electrical company and successfully completed innovative projects, but Edison did not pay the promised incentives. Disappointed, Tesla left the company and soon emerged as Edison's most threatening competitor. The clash of the two prideful geniuses ultimately escalated into the 'War of the Currents' over the dominance of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC).

However, in their later years, both men became engrossed in strange experiments that transcended the boundaries of science. Edison became immersed in research on a 'spirit communication device' that could communicate with the dead, while Tesla dedicated himself to developing a 'death ray' weapon more powerful than the atomic bomb. 'Celeb Soldier's Secret' follows whether their final experiments were truly a glimpse into the future of science or merely the delusions of geniuses.

Edison had to drop out of school as a child due to being considered distractible, but he showed extraordinary execution by founding a one-man newspaper in a train cargo car at the age of 14. In contrast, even while suffering from cholera, Tesla said, "If I can study engineering, I think I will recover from my illness," and he declared his intention to give up his sex life to focus on his experiments, demonstrating his sincerity toward academia and research. Especially when Tesla's obsessive behavior, fixating on the number '3' and determining how many times to wash his hands, was revealed, Lee Chan-won reportedly exclaimed, "That's just like me," unable to hide his surprise.

Lee Nak-jun, a doctor and the original creator of the drama 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,' notes that the behaviors of Edison and Tesla bear similarities to ADHD and Asperger syndrome, and he analyzes the neurodevelopmental traits of both geniuses in an interesting manner.

In this broadcast, Professor Kwon Jae-sik, a writer and engineer, will discuss how Edison and Tesla have influenced our lives today in an easy and engaging way. There will also be an interesting story about why the lights go out when the Seoul subway passes between Seoul Station and Namyoung Station, which is related to 'Edison's secret', along with a recording of a Korean student studying in the United States from 1896.
