The female vocal duo Jajung will share the table with singer Lee Ye-jun.
On the 9th, HNS HQ announced, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with Jajung (Choi Min-jeong, Lee Ja-hyun). We are pleased to work with attractive female vocalists following Lee Ye-jun. We will do our best to support Jajung in their more active music activities."
Jajung is a female vocal duo that officially debuted in 2022 with the relay music project "Fly Again" from the singing playground "NoNol." The team name Jajung, derived from one letter of each member's name, Choi Min-jeong and Lee Ja-hyun, means the beginning and end of a day.
Choi Min-jeong, a refreshing vocalist who majored in vocal music at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, possesses a wide musical spectrum. Lee Ja-hyun is a talented singer who has won numerous vocal competitions and boasts a refined voice developed through solid live performances. The attractive chemistry between the two is resonating with all generations, from MZ to the 70s and 80s.
Starting with the music video "I'll Take You Home," featuring actor Lee Yi-kyung, Jajung has steadily released a number of new songs since late 2022, including "Sad Snowman," "If I Knew That Breakup Was the Beginning of Love," "The Prettiest Lie Among Lies," and "Like Love."
In particular, they made an impression on ballad listeners with "Pee-o-rim," selected as the title track of the compilation album "LOVE BALLAD 1," along with "Snow," a collaboration with KCM. Jajung's distinctly emerging delicate sensibility and strong vocals are raising expectations for their future activities.
HNS HQ is expanding its activities by producing a variety of well-made audio tracks. Following the "Today's Playlist" project and Lee Ye-jun's representative songs like "Crazy Sound," "Was I at Ease That Day," and "Are We Going to Meet Again?", ballad audio tracks from HNS HQ, including Kyung Seo-ye-ji and Jeon Gun-ho's "When You Call My Name," which surpassed 200 million streams on Melon, and Hwang Ka-ram's "I'm a Firefly" and "Because I Miss You So Much," which have been dominating the music charts for more than half a year since last winter, are receiving a positive response from the public.
Following Lee Ye-jun, the winner of "Voice Korea 2" and the reigning champion with four wins on "King of Masked Singers," the emotional duo Jajung is set to continue connecting with the public through various musical activities in 2025 along with HNS HQ as their second exclusive artist.
