BTS RM and V shared an update just three days before their discharge.
On the 7th, RM uploaded several photos to his social account without any special comments.
The released photos show RM dressed in casual clothes, seemingly on his final vacation. He is depicted enjoying leisure on an outdoor terrace, wearing dark jeans and a shirt.
In another photo, he is seen riding a bicycle with a mask covering his face, dressed in a natural fashion.
Meanwhile, fellow BTS member V also updated his account that day with a selfie. V stood in front of a mirror wearing jeans, a jacket, and a beanie, taking a full-body selfie.
Striking a playful pose with one leg raised, V added the comment "cute," showcasing his charming side. The enhanced visuals of both individuals, especially as they approach their discharge, capture attention.
On Dec. 11, 2023, V was enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the Army, currently fulfilling his defense duties in the 2nd Infantry Division Military Police Special Mission Team (SDT). He is set to discharge on the 10th, the same day RM, who is serving in the 15th Infantry Division, will also be discharged.
The next day, on the 11th, Jimin and Jung Kook are expected to complete their service and be discharged from the 5th Infantry Division. Following that, on the 21st, Suga, who is currently serving as a social service worker, will be discharged, bringing all BTS members back together for their fans. In this context, their agency, Big Hit Music, stated through the fan platform Weverse, "The discharge day will be a day when many service members discharge together, and no official events will be held on the discharge day. Each location has very limited space, raising concerns about safety due to congestion. We earnestly request fans to refrain from visiting the site, prioritizing the safety of both the artists and fans."
