Park Bo-Young confessed her hidden feelings to Park Jin-Young.

The 5th episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul' (written by Lee Kang, directed by Park Shin-Woo and Nam Geon, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Monster Union and High Ground) aired yesterday (7th), revealing the past of Yumi Ji (played by Park Bo-Young) and Lee Ho-Soo (played by Park Jin-Young), which deeply touched the viewers.

As a result, the viewership rating for the 5th episode recorded a peak of 5.7% among metropolitan households and 5.4% nationwide, ranking first in the same time slot among cable and general programming channels. It also ranked first in the target demographic for tvN, the 2049 male and female viewership ratings, among cable and general programming channels at the same time.

Upon hearing that Lee Ho-Soo's first love was not his sister Yu Mi-Rae (played by Park Bo-Young) but herself, Yumi Ji began to probe about the timing of his feelings, starting to speculate about where their relationship had gotten tangled. Lee Ho-Soo responded that he came to like Yumi Ji after a traditional school event on Dosun-Bong, further bewildering her.

At the same time, feeling confused between the twin sisters, Lee Ho-Soo headed to Dosun-Ri to meet Yumi Ji, wanting to clarify his feelings. However, the Yumi Ji he was looking for was posing as Yu Mi-Rae in Seoul. Lee Ho-Soo, speaking to Yu Mi-Rae while she pretended to be Yumi Ji, expressed gratitude by recounting a conversation he had shared with Yumi Ji on Dosun-Bong, saying, “I think that was a turning point in my life.” Yu Mi-Rae, who had mistakenly been approached, showed a nonchalant reaction, and Lee Ho-Soo felt an odd sense of discomfort from her different reaction.

Yu Mi-Rae clarified Yumi Ji's misunderstanding by saying that she had talked with Lee Ho-Soo and mentioned rumors about their past relationship. She explained that the reason Yu Mi-Rae had fallen into Lee Ho-Soo's arms on the day of the athletic competition, when Yumi Ji had been injured, was due to a sudden decline in her condition. Yumi Ji blamed herself for missing out on everything precious because of the small misunderstanding.

In a situation where she had to write a business report for the first time in her life, Yumi Ji worked tirelessly day and night to produce a perfect result but ended up with a meager outcome. During a co-worker's consolation, who helped her finish the report, Yumi Ji suddenly opened up about the times she had been holed up in her room. Recalling the day she went up Dosun-Bong and the words Lee Ho-Soo had said to her, Yumi Ji's story brought tears to the viewers' eyes.

Later, Yumi Ji revealed that thanks to a promise made with her grandmother, saying, “Yesterday is over, and tomorrow is far away, but today is still unknown. So let's live today,” she was able to endure day by day. Her tears, lamenting about her inability to keep her promise to not run away from herself any longer, deepened the audience's sympathy.

With emotions running high, Yumi Ji directed her steps toward Lee Ho-Soo and demanded an explanation about what happened on Dosun-Bong, leveraging the intoxication. In response, Lee Ho-Soo brought up the time when he could not believe in himself, and Yumi Ji was the only one who had faith in him. Yumi Ji, quietly listening, even forgot she was pretending to be Yu Mi-Rae and confessed to Lee Ho-Soo, “I liked you too.” This unexpected confession from Yumi Ji left Lee Ho-Soo stunned, hinting at a change in their relationship.

Meanwhile, Yu Mi-Rae became an unexpected target of scandal in Dosun-Ri, raising tensions. Rumors spread widely that she was in a love triangle with the farm owner Han Se-Jin (played by Ryu Kyung-Soo) and classmate Song Kyung-Goo (played by Moon Dong-Hyuk). Yu Mi-Rae, now the subject of uncomfortable rumors, had a pale face filled with trauma, leaving viewers wondering what had happened to her as they anticipated the next storyline of 'Our Unwritten Seoul.'
