Oh My Ghost Clients' Jung Kyung-ho has started to grow with a sense of mission as a labor attorney.
In the 4th episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Oh My Ghost Clients' (written by Kim Bo-tong and Yoo Seung-hee, directed by Im Sun-rye and Lee Han-jun) that aired on the afternoon of the 7th, the activities of 'Mujins' who exonerated a new nurse falsely accused of medical malpractice were depicted. Initially reluctantly accepting requests from ghosts, the 'Mujins' gradually became more sincere in resolving labor issues, presenting both humor and emotional impact.
Moo-jin learned about the unjust death of nurse Jo Eun-young (played by Hwang Bo-rum-byeol) through possession, but felt helpless without evidence to prove it. The hospital concealed Eun-young's death, attributing it to depression following a breakup, while her colleagues maintained silence. Moreover, it was difficult for Eun-young's death to be recognized as an industrial accident. Moo-jin recalled a crucial piece of evidence during possession and sent Kyun-woo to disguise as a doctor to infiltrate the hospital to find it. While patrolling the ward, Kyun-woo encountered the nurse Lee Seo-jung (played by Ok Jayeon) who had bullied Eun-young, and Moo-jin headed to the hospital to meet Seo-jung. However, their identities were discovered, leading to a chase, and ultimately the two escaped to the rooftop.
At that moment, Seo-jung was also climbing to the rooftop with a heavy heart. After Eun-young's death, Seo-jung struggled with guilt and faced resentful glances from colleagues. However, Dr. Park Hyun-woo (played by Shin Ju-hyeop), the one responsible for Eun-young's death, shamelessly placed the blame for the medical accident on Eun-young and criticized Seo-jung for her bullying. In addition, he pressured Seo-jung to prevent the incident from being disclosed outside.
Moo-jin leaped to grab Seo-jung's hand as she was falling from the rooftop. At that moment, Moo-jin's face overlapped with that of the deceased Eun-young. Crying, Seo-jung belatedly conveyed her sincerity to Eun-young, saying, "I'm sorry." Eun-young responded, "If you're sorry, tell the truth. Apologize while you are alive," pulling Seo-jung's hand. The scene where Moo-jin and Eun-young joined forces with all their strength to save Seo-jung delivered a deep emotional impact.
Following this, the efforts of the 'Mujins' to unveil the truth behind Eun-young's death unfolded successfully. With the 'verbal order sheet' submitted by Seo-jung and the 'workplace bullying report' found by Kyun-woo, they could prove the doctor's mistakes and the hospital's cover-up. Moreover, Eun-young's treatment records for depression, which helped in recognizing her death as an industrial accident, were secured. The death of Eun-young became a news issue through 'Kyun-jjang TV', shedding light on the structural problems of the hospital that led to the bullying of nurses. 'Kyun-jjang TV' adorned the 'increasing popularity videos' section, and the 'Mujins' announced the rise of a new 'Kyun-jjang TV' as a labor issue reporting channel, shouting, "Onward to the Silver Button! Let's go up!"
The scene of Eun-young's exoneration left a deep resonance, marking a moment where the sincerity of the 'Mujins' reached out. Moo-jin warmly embraced his ex-girlfriend, who regretted ignoring Eun-young's struggles. Hee-joo and Kyun-woo, who witnessed this scene, thought it might be Eun-young entering Moo-jin's body. At Eun-young's memorial space in front of the hospital, Seo-jung once again paid silent homage. The face of Eun-young, standing next to Seo-jung, appeared more at peace than before. Finally wiping away the tears of revenge, Eun-young smiled at Moo-jin and bowed her head in gratitude. Hee-joo and Kyun-woo also paid their respects to Eun-young in the direction Moo-jin looked.
Eun-young's death left a significant shockwave in the hearts of the 'Mujins.' Moo-jin responded to the bereaved family's expression of gratitude, saying, "I just did what I should have done as a labor attorney." A sense of mission began to take root in Moo-jin's heart, who had no sense of professional ethics or accountability as a labor attorney, and he became expected to grow into a hero for workers. Even Hee-joo and Kyun-woo, whose initial aim was money, started to feel fulfilled and show signs of gradual change, making the anticipation for the future thrilling activities of the 'Mujins' grow.
At the end of the broadcast, Moo-jin was depicted just before being hit by a bus while dozing off, raising the tension. The near-death climax of Moo-jin, whose third life was hanging by a thread, promised a story full of suspense.
