'RUN TO LIVE Crew' excited viewers with their challenge in the fifth competition, 'Trail Running.'

In the 8th episode of the MBN entertainment show 'RUN TO LIVE,' which aired on the 7th, the 'RUN Crew' participated for the first time in an '11km Trail Running' competition, where a 'tagging' mission was announced, vividly capturing the scene of fierce competition.

Earlier, the 'RUN Crew,' who had completed a 'half marathon,' gathered at Yulpo Beach in Boseong, Jeollanam-do, on this day. They decided to lightly run 5km for a 'recovery run,' chatting and enjoying the beach course. Ahn Seong-hoon noted, "It's been a long time since I've walked by the sea," soaking in the scenery, while Heo Jae joked, "I have to go with the leading group. Everyone seems to be running too slowly." Choi Jun-seok shared, "I used to drive even 500m, but now I walk about 1km," recalling how running has changed his daily life. After finishing the recovery run, the 'RUN Crew' strengthened their teamwork by having a 'foot massage relay challenge' with ingredients at stake, and later ended their training pleasantly by enjoying delicious roasted duck.

Two weeks later, the 'RUN Crew' reconvened in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do. Here, Director General Shawn announced, "Our next competition is the 'Trail Running' taking place tomorrow!" Vice Director Lee Yong-pyo informed, "We will conduct mountain training. The three members ranked lower in the 'half marathon,' Heo Jae, Yang Joon-hyuk, and Bang Eun-hee, will be divided into teams for a relay run, and the first team will receive MVP badges." The 'RUN Crew' expressed their desire for the badges, and during the race, 'Ace' Lee Jang-jun complained, "It's so tough. The slope is steep, and I thought my thigh muscles would burst." Fortunately, everyone finished the competition without injuries, and the first place was claimed by Yang Joon-hyuk's team.

After finishing mountain training, Director General Shawn announced, "I have an important announcement today." As everyone looked puzzled, Jung Ho-young came out and said, "Actually, I will only participate in 'RUN TO LIVE' until today. Since there aren't many staff members, I have to maintain the store, and due to my business, I've reluctantly decided to step down." He continued, "I've enjoyed being with the warm management and crew, but I feel that if this continues, I might lose my restaurant staff, so I won't participate in tomorrow's competition," bidding farewell to everyone. Immediately afterward, in an interview with the production team, he added, "I've been running consistently for the past three months, which has given me confidence. I felt that nothing is impossible after succeeding in my first half marathon. If the opportunity arises, I would like to challenge a full marathon once."

The next day, the 'RUN Crew' gathered in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, for the highly anticipated 'Trail Running.' With about 2,300 participants, Vice Director Lee Yong-pyo announced the mission for this tournament to the 'RUN Crew' before the main competition. He explained, "Starting from the rankings from the first to the last place during the 'half marathon,' if you tag the person ranked just above you, you can take one of their MVP badges." Upon hearing this, Heo Jae raised his voice, saying, "This could lead to internal division," while Son Jeong-eun added, "We're already starting to get into fights!" leading to laughter among the others. Eventually, Sleepy countered, "I want to give my badge early and run slowly," causing chaos on the scene. Shortly thereafter, everyone began to identify their respective competitors they needed to catch up with, each expressing their determination. Jang Dong-seon, who had placed 4th, said, "(3rd place) Yul-hee is no joke with her competitiveness," while Yul-hee remarked, "Catching 2nd place (Han Sang-bo) is tough, but it's also important not to lose my badge. I guess I need to endure with mental strength."

As everyone devised strategies ahead of the 'tagging' mission, the starting time for the 'Trail Running' approached. That day, actors Cha Eun-woo, Im Se-mi, and Lee Si-woo also participated, drawing attention. These 'running lovers' joined the 'RUN Crew' in the '11km Trail Running,' and as the starting whistle blew, '1st place' Lee Jang-jun sprinted off, determined to avoid being caught by anyone.

It remains to be seen who will cry and laugh in the 'tagging' mission during the 'RUN Crew's' 'Trail Running.' The scene and results will be broadcast on the evening of the 14th at 8:20 p.m.
