Major league baseball player Choo Shin-soo and his wife, Ha Won-mi, have decided to sell their 10-year-old Bentley and donate all the revenue from the sale.

Earlier on the 4th, a video titled 'Selling Choo Shin-soo's Bentley' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Ha Won-mi.' This video is an extension of a recent highly discussed content piece. Previously, Ha Won-mi released a concept video selling Choo Shin-soo's cherished vehicle, the Bentley, which received various reactions along with cheerful laughter.

In response, Ha Won-mi said, “Many people supported and worried for us,” adding, “I did not expect to receive such attention.” She continued, “The discussion about selling the car was something we had shared before,” stating, “I just opened the conversation; it was originally a vehicle we were considering selling.”

Choo Shin-soo also mentioned in the video, “It was a car I was going to sell anyway. My wife ignited the spark,” and stated, “After returning to the U.S. and having conversations, we concluded that since this was the case, why not help a field that I have been interested in for a long time?”

The field he is interested in is support for single-parent families. Choo Shin-soo shared, “In the past, when I had many away games, my wife essentially raised our three children alone,” noting, “Having that experience makes me feel connected to this field. We decided to donate the full amount from the sale of the vehicle.”

Ha Won-mi also added her official stance through the video description, stating, “To put it bluntly, after sufficient discussion, we decided to sell the Bentley and agreed to donate all the revenue from the sale,” and noted, “Currently, the car is for sale through a consignment company, and we are waiting for the interest of those who share the same values.”

Through this decision, the couple is showing a way to imbue good influence beyond simply sharing their daily lives as content. The vehicle is currently waiting for a new owner through formal consignment sale, and all revenue from the sale is intended for donations to support single-parent families.
