Broadcaster Lee Kyung-sil revealed the enlistment scene of her son Son Bo-seung.
On the 5th, Lee Kyung-sil posted a lengthy message on her SNS along with the date "Thursday, June 5, 2025". She disclosed that on the previous day, the 4th, she visited the training center of the 55th Division in Yongin with her family to see her son Son Bo-seung off.
Lee Kyung-sil said, "My husband, myself, Sua, Bo-seung, and my grandson Lee Hun went together in one car," adding, "My daughter-in-law was worried about the filming of 'Joseon Love' and tried not to come, but out of concern, Sua and I reached out to include her." She continued, "The person who probably wants to come the most is my daughter-in-law," expressing her affection.
The photos Lee Kyung-sil shared included Son Bo-seung with his hair cut short, carrying his son on his shoulders, and warm moments shared by the family in the car. The scenes from enlistment day, including the final farewell between the daughter-in-law and her son, caught attention.
After the enlistment ceremony, her grandson reportedly "wailed, looking for his dad." Lee Kyung-sil added with a laugh, "I thought my daughter-in-law would cry, but she even teased Lee Hun."
Finally, she expressed her deep feelings as a parent witnessing her child's growth, saying, "I must make sure to attend the discharge ceremony after the six weeks of training on July 9th."
Meanwhile, Lee Kyung-sil is currently sharing her daily life with her son Son Bo-seung on TV Chosun's variety show 'Joseon Love'. Son Bo-seung, who was 23 years old in 2021, announced the news of an out-of-wedlock pregnancy with a non-celebrity woman, and the following year he welcomed a son.
